  • What are the hours of operation?

  • Hours of operation are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9-1. Saturday 9-2 and Sunday noon-3 . Late hours on Wednesdays from 2:30-5:30

  • Typically our hours change with the seasons. Scroll down to the yellow footer for the most up-to-date hours. Also keep an eye on our Facebook page for special holiday hours, openings and closings.

  • Can I bring my coffee and drinks in? You may enjoy them in the kitchen or leave them at the front desk to sip on. Thank you for helping us keep the play area clean and safe.

  • What should children wear?
    Socks! The entire play area is a shoe free zone! The front desk will have shoe coverings and some socks for emergencies.

    What is the cost of admission?

    $7 - “Just You & Me” (one child and one caregiver)

    $10 - Family (up to 5 family members per household; $1 for each additional)

     

  • How much does a membership cost? Please go to the Annual Membership page for more information. Memberships can be purchased online or at the front desk.

  • What form of payments do you accept?
    As a non-profit organization, we prefer cash in order to avoid credit card transaction fees. We also accept MasterCard and Visa (minimum charge of two admissions is required, we will hold your next admission on file).

  • Where are you located?
    Play Space is at 100 North Street suite 2, Auburn, NY 13021. Visit the Directions and Parking page for more information.

  • What is the age range for admission?
    Our exhibits cater to young children (0 to 6). Older siblings and children are welcome to accompany their families for play. A special Build & Create area has been developed for children over 4 years as well as other expanded play areas to enjoy such as Wegmans Market Play Cafe. Older children need to be supervised by a parent or caregiver too!

  • How long does the visit last?
    Stop in for some quick play time or stay for the day. Whatever works for your family.

  • Do you have stroller parking?
    Of course! We have a small designated area for strollers. We don’t allow strollers in the play areas.

  • Are you wheelchair accessible?
    We sure are. The Play Space is on one level and is wheelchair accessible.

  • Can I just drop off my child, and pick them up in a few hours?
    Unfortunately, no. We require that children are accompanied and supervised by an adult (at least 18 years old).

  • I don’t have any children but I am a kid at heart, can I come play?
    Adult visitors must be accompanied by a child. However, if you’re interested in learning more about the organization or touring the facility, please contact us.

  • Where can we eat?
    We have a designated area where visitors can enjoy a snack.

  • Do you have an ATM?
    There are is an ATM within walking distance.

  • Can I leave and come back in?
    You sure can. If you’d like to leave and come back on the same day just ask one of our staff for a hand stamp.

  • Do you have a family restroom?
    We have six restrooms. There are two changing tables.

  • What is your security policy?
    Your family’s safety and security are our highest priorities. Adults must be accompanied by a child, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Staff are always here to assist you but please be advised that parent and caregiver supervision is expected at all times.

  • How can I help?
